Ditch your chemical cleaning products and pick up a handle of cheap vodka at your corner liquor store. Put it in a spray bottle diluted with a little water and go to town on anything (except for wood) in your kitchen. Vodka is naturally antibacterial and non-toxic. Caked on grime on the stove? Vodka. Scratches all over the sink? Vodka. Hot pepper oil on your hands? Vodka. It burns through everything safely. It works a lot like vinegar except it has no scent. Yay! No more chemicals in the kitchen!

I love this!
I have this image of my husband coming home to me spritzing what appears to be cleaning spray into my mouth.
Very cool.. I was thinking it’s good it has no scent.. otherwise guests would wonder what I was up to all day, lol! xo Smidge
that’s good to know! I never thought about it 🙂
I never thought of using vodka to clean! I know rubbing alcohol cuts through grease, but sometimes it also removed paint and finishes as well.
I never liked cleaning with vinegar either because of the smell. But vodka. Now we’re talking!
Thanks for the tip!
Why haven’t I ever thought of this! I hate cleaning with vinegar because of the smell… but vodka! Brilliant.
I knew I liked that girl! 😉
Its also great for getting smells out of clothing (especially vintage clothes)
And you have the optional benefit of doing shots between scrubbing to make your cleaning sesh EXTRA fun. 😉
Haha! It’s true!
