Call me lazy, but I always search for a parking space closest to the shopping cart return at the grocery store. You’ll thank me come winter, I know it. You’re so welcome.

Yes! As a new mommy I have learned I have to do this now too in order to keep close to my little one 🙂
I like to park 2 or 3 spots away to avoid the occasional rogue shopping cart – but near the cart stall makes so much more sense than close to the door. (bonus exercise if you park near a stall as far from the door as possible 😉 )
I love you for promising me that winter is coming. I’m going to make it through yet another week of 90°, right? Summer has to end eventually. I think.
I always park as close to the exit as I can. I hate paying lots! 🙂
Until your car gets dinged by a runaway cart because someone was too lazy to put it all the way into the return 😉 Then you park furthest away, no matter how cold it is. (Speaking from experience sadly)
Oh I didn’t think about that! However, years of parking outside in the snow has done a major ding to our car. Whoops! Someone asked us if we had our car painted matte. It’s bad!
omg YES can we discuss how on sunday i found two spots next to the cart return, so i could pull into a space and then through to the next row so the front of my car was facing out, and in parking in this space i uttered an audible “yussssss” to myself because jackpot? it’s the little things…
I do the same though I am not always looking for such a spot. I count it as a blessing when it happens, more often than not. I figure with the foot traffic the car is safer near one too. Though the stores often have cameras anyway.
