Salted Nutella Syrup

The winter had me hooked on Salted Nutella Lattes. With the arrival of the summer heat, I had to find a way to easily make it iced. Thus, Nutella syrup was born. It’s a glorified simple syrup that dangerously comes together in less than 5 minutes.


  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • heaping 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 3 tbsp. Nutella


  1. In a small saucepan, heat water, sugar, and salt over medium heat until dissolved, stirring occasionally.
  2. Whisk in Nutella and continue to cook until evenly combined.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
