Description

A simple homemade shot of Ginger Juice made with a juicy clementine, a coin of fresh ginger, and water. Made with a blender. No juicer needed.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 clementine, peeled
  • quarter-sized coin of fresh ginger, 1/4″ thick, peeled
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 1 ice cube, for serving

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients into a small blender basin of a high-powered blender, like so. (Note: a small blender basin allows this single serving to hit the blades and blend until smooth. With a large blender basin, some of the ingredients will sit below the blade, unable to blend smoothly.)
  2. Blend on high for 20 seconds until smooth. Pour into a short glass and serve with an ice cube.

Notes

If using a clementine, no straining will be necessary. Other citrus varieties will most likely need straining.

Add as little or as much ginger as you’d like.
