Prior to moving in to #thefauxhouse, I’ve always worked in the dining or living room on a cheap, rickety Ikea desk. We moved that rickety desk into the new office and told ourselves we’d put off designing the room for at least a year. I lasted two whole weeks. When I should have been unpacking boxes, I was busy at work in the moodboard file. I wish I had saved all the iterations. There were hundreds.
