You may remember this no-rise pizza crust recipe. It’s the only recipe I use because planning ahead is not my forte. But even easier than the crust is the sauce. You probably have everything sitting in your pantry. Tomato paste + water + a couple seasonings. So easy yet so good. The turkey, stuffing, and pie are calling my name. But before I sign off—1) Have the happiest of Thanksgivings! 2) Make pizza once turkey has lost its appeal.
Pantry Pizza Sauce
2 parts water
1 part tomato paste
dash of basil
dash of oregano
dash of thyme
dash of pure cane sugar
dash of sea salt
1. In a small bowl combine ingredients.
2. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
*If using the no-rise pizza crust recipe, use 1/4 cup tomato paste to 1/2 cup water.
